Born Sept 11, 1927 in Lewiston, Utah to Joseph and Ethel Ransom, he grew up working on the family farm. He then moved to Logan and for the past 53 years has called Hyde Park his home.

He married Annie Pauline Hutchison in 1953, and after her passing, he married Velma Lambert in 2010. For 17 years, with his wives, he has ventured to the warm Quartzsite, Arizona desert during the winters.

Kyle has been a firm believer that life is for the living, and has set a wonderful example of this to his family. Kyle leaves behind his sweet wife, Velma, 3 children, Jed and Karalee Ransom, Paula and Curt (Mason), JD and Liz Ransom, 10 grand children and 9 great grandchildren.
