Obituary for Albert Leroy Robinson

Albert LeRoy Robinson died Monday morning, October 29, 2018 due to complications of an Aneurism and Diabetes.

He was born April 6,1944 in Logan, Utah, the oldest son of Jed S. Robinson and Helen Moser Robinson.

Growing up on a dairy farm, he learned the lessons of hard work and the importance of an education. He attended Park Elementary, Lewiston Junior High and North Cache High School. He loved sports of all kinds but especially excelled in Basketball and Football and received a basketball scholarship to Snow College. Understanding the importance of following his father and grandfather’s example of serving an LDS mission, Albert served an honorable two-year LDS mission to Northern California.

He married Lana Greene on May 27, 1965 in the Logan Temple. Together they are the parents of three children: Mark, Kristine, and Holly.

In Albert’s younger years he worked for Hi-Land Dairy delivering milk. He then moved up to driving semi’s which was his happy place.

Albert had many experiences that he would share about the beautiful places he saw and also the sad accidents he would encounter while driving.

Albert always had a dream of becoming a highway patrol officer, but for one reason or another he was not able to pass his physical challenge to move forward. His son Mark, works as a police officer and Albert vicariously lived his dreams through his son, Mark.

He leaves behind three married children: Mark Albert Robinson (Lori), Kristine (David) Condie, Holly (Scott) Ray, and seven grandchildren: John and Ashlyn Robinson, Morgan and Mitchell Condie, Sydney Johnson, and William and Camryn Ray. Albert’s siblings are Jane Larsen and Greg Robinson.

His family wishes to thank the Doctors and Nursing staff, Medical first responders, and assisted living homes for their kind and gentle treatment to Albert. As he rode his “Jazzy Power Chair”, a smiling face and a positive attitude in the midst of adversity was a quality that Albert emanated.

We all love and will miss you.
